Kinda Makini
Kelly has a passion for ministry with young people and their families, and is excited to work with the Network board, where she hopes to help deepen our commitment that “people with different backgrounds, skills, attitudes and experiences bring fresh ideas and perceptions.”
Kinda Makini will continue her work with the Network Board for a second 3-year term. Kinda directs the Inner City Youth Group in Detroit, Michigan. She has a deep commitment to faith formation with young people, especially those who feel disconnected from the church.
Kinda was the team leader for the MYLE (Multicultural Youth Leadership Event) that preceded the ELCA Youth Gathering this past summer.
We welcome Kelly and Kinda to the Network Board of Directors.
